Biking Adventure in Eastern Nepal - 14 Days Tour code: BAEN-NP-008
This biking adventure is the perfect way to see the eastern Nepal. This program starts with the sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu valley and than biking to the eastern part of Nepal via the picturesque Kulekhani Dam Site. We will then drive to the southern plains towards eastern Nepal and reach the bustling city of Biratnagar. After a flight to Sukhetar seasonal airstrip, we start our biking around the foothills of world's 3rd highest mountain - Kanchenjunga. This area is less beaten with very few tourists. Lush green forested valleys are some of the beautiful attractions which attracts more people here. We also visit the famous tea garden of Nepal at Ilam and visit the legendary Mai Khola valley passing by some of the interesting uphills & downhills. Our trip ends with the flight from Nepal's second largest industrial district Biratnagar to Kathmandu. Come explore the eastern nepal with us!
OUTLINE ITINERARY
DAY 1: Arrive in Kathmandu. DAY 2: Biking around the Kathmandu city DAY 3: Transfer to Dakshinkali, start biking to the Kulekhani Dam Site. DAY 4: Bike downhill towards Hetauda DAY 5: Drive to Hetauda to Biratnagar DAY 6: Fly Biratnagar / Sukhetar for our most interesting part of the journey - biking in Kanchenjunga Valley. DAY 7: Bike towards Kabeli river. DAY 8: Bike uphill to Jor-Pokhari. DAY 9: Exciting downhill and uphill biking to reach Phidim. Transfer to Pauwa Pass. DAY 10: Bike to the famous tea state area at Ilam DAY 11: Bike to Mai Khola and then to the top of Fikkal Pass and then to Char Alee, transfer to Biratnagar. DAY 12: Fly back to Kathmandu. DAY 13: Free day in Kathmandu DAY 14: Departure
